Google Wellbeing thesis — concept screens for a digital habits tool
Concept screens explored as part of an 8-month thesis on digital wellbeing.

Hypothesis

Forming healthy habits and routines helps smartphone-addicted users be more productive in their daily lives. There are 20+ apps in the app stores tackling this problem, but the issue stays roughly the same — none of them tackle both controlling social-media use and building healthy routines.

Aim

To help users be more productive by unplugging from social media and smartphones when required — by helping them form healthy habits and routines.

Research

User panel of 6 students and professionals, qualitative interviews, and a follow-up to verify the problem before jumping to a solution.

"If I start to think about forming any other work routine, in the end I find it a routine. I attend meetings and when I have to work autonomously I tend to keep my phone down while studying."
— user interview
